The Perfect Breakfast

Eating the perfect breakfast in the morning is actually easier than you think, and believe it or not it doesn’t take much time either. There are two types of people, people who work out in the morning, and people who don’t workout in the morning. I am going to give both groups their perfect breakfast!

If You Workout in the Morning

My favorite breakfast: Three eggs, a piece of fruit, and a small bowl of oatmeal. This is awesome because of the perfect blend of protein and carbohydrates.

For building muscle, you should eat protein and carbohydrates about 45 to 60 minutes before you work out. You want to do this because you want your muscles to have the nutrients they need to perform at maximum capacity during your workout.

Choose one of the following:

  • Fruit juice w/scoop of Whey Protein
  • A protein shake Whey Protein
  • 1-2 cups of cooked oatmeal w/scoop of Whey Protein
  • 1 spoonful of natural almond butter or peanut butter w/piece of fruit
  • glass of milk w/piece of fruit

If You Don’t Work Out in the Morning

Choose one of the following:

  • Eggs w/salsa or a piece of fruit
  • A spoonful of natural almond butter or peanut butter w/piece of fruit
  • A protein shake Whey Protein
  • 100% Fruit juice w/scoop of Whey Protein
