5 Tips To Losing Weight

It’s a story we are all familiar with: You promise yourself to maintain a daily cardio routine, and even count your calorie intake. Soon you find yourself drinking your mocha latte before work, and grabbing happy hour drinks… Diet is officially over! Here are 5 tips to losing weight that will help you stay on track to meet your fitness goals.

Tip 1: Always eat a healthy, nice sized breakfast. Get rid of the sugary cereals! You want to eat protein and healthy fats, so I suggest eggs, sliced avocado, and a piece of wheat bread.

Tip 2: Eat more! I mean that as in, three healthy meals and 3 healthy snacks. An example of a healthy snack would be a handful of almonds.

Tip 3: You have seen me write about this before, lift weights. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn throughout the day. The great thing about lifting weights, is that your body burns calories even when you are done working out.

Tip 4: Weeeee are never ever ever drinking sweetened soda together! Even Taylor Swift knows this tip! No sweetened soda! I am not really a fan of diet soda either because of the aspartame, but it is the better of the two evils. Drink more water!

Tip 5: Don’t be afraid of fats! You should eat healthy fats because they help you feel full, helps control your appetite, and believe it or not our bodies needs it.
