There are great benefits to morning exercise. I get it, because we can’t all be morning people, mornings are busy especially when you add kiddos, you work too early, and the list can go on and on. Even if you make a small change in your morning routine it can be greatly beneficial. Also, remember any workout is better than none. So roll yourself out from under the covers and just do a workout.

Who doesn’t love sleep? Right, so wake up and workout. You will be off to better sleep at night. The exercise improves the quality of your sleep with the length of sleep and deeper sleep cycles. Workout and you will rest easy!

When you wake up to a morning routine of working out, well, the morning workouts become your daily habit. This morning workout routine makes you disciplined. When you create self-discipline and you miss a workout the day might seem a bit off.

Jump start your morning with a workout and you will increase your metabolism. You literally jump start your metabolism by working out in the AM. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to workout in the mornings after hearing this! You will continue to burn calories even after the workout.

- 40 Jumping Jacks
- 30 Crunches
- 20 Squats
- 10 Push-ups
Try to do this 5 times this morning, and you will burn about 500 calories. Just remember we all start somewhere. JUST START!
